For years, my birthday was a quiet reminder of what I had lost—the warmth of celebration before my mother’s demise in 2003. In 2014, my friends changed that. They filled my special day with love, joy, and laughter, reminding me that when a door closes, another one opens.
In 2019, we realized this love could do more than just celebrate a day—it could change lives. So, we turned our joy into purpose, gathering the little we had and reaching out to those in need. Our first act of giving led us to an orphanage in Kabowa, Kampala.
From that moment, a simple idea grew into a movement of people that our world craves for, people who leave marks, not scars. - Micheal Mugisha, Founder
